Need LVDS disabled

I have a small problem I was hoping someone could help me with. I am trying to setup Linux on my old machine, but I am having a video issue. The motherboard is a Jetway NF-91-600LF board, which is based on an Intel 915 mobile chipset. The integrated graphics is an Intel GMA900. The problem is, this ...

Jetway JNF91-600-LF with Award BIOS need modification

Hello. I have a Jetway JNF91-600-LF integrated motherboard and the ADPCM2 daughter board which adds a PCMCIA slot and Compact Flash slot. I would like to boot this computer from the CF slot, however there is no option in the BIOS. I have contacted Jetway Computer Tech support and they have told me t...

Well, as far as warranties go, I could really care less... The thought had crossed my mind to make the 3.5 floppy usb. This board has 6 internal usb connectors and it would be great if I could find some kind of USB-to-floppy controller, or even just an internal usb floppy, but they don't seem to exi...

I have A LOT of old data on 5.25 disks, and I still use 3.5 disks as well. It would prohibitively time consuming to transfer all the data to another medium. The motherboard will recognize one or the other as drive A, but there's no option for drive B in the BIOS. I can't even figure out what superio...

A78AX-S - need multiple floppies

I have a Foxconn A78AX-S motherboard and I need to connect 2 internal floppy drives. The way I understand it is that all floppy controllers support at least 2 floppies. The problem is that the BIOS only has an option to recognize a single floppy. Is it possible to modify the BIOS to allow 2 floppy d...

NEED PINOUT SuperPower SP-586TX

I am replacing a dead Ocktek Rhino9 (stop recognizing floppy drive) with an SP-586TX. I am having a problem hooking up the PS/2 port. The Rhino9 had a 4-pin connector with Red, Black, Orange, and Yellow wires on pins 1-4, respectively. The SP-586TX has a 5-pin connector on the motherboard with a key...

Third Line on the POST screen reads: V.598B B01 11-23-1998
Last Line reads: 11/23/1998-VP3-586B-W877-2A5LEJ1DC-00

Here is the download for the BIOS: http://www.jetway.com.tw/evisn/download ... 8b-b01.bin

120GB: Jetway J-598B

I have a Jetway J-598B motherboard that will not detect my Maxtor 120GB HDD over 32GB. The Maxtor Drive overlay will not help either. I found (what I think is) the latest bios at both the Jetway and J-Mark website (same bios version, B01), but it did not remove the 32GB barrier. As far as I understa...
