hmm, i'll go look into it.
the PC also does the same when i choose restart from Windows.

PC will not shut down ?
I have a system here with Windows 2000 Professional that doesn't shutdown when I choose shutdown from the start menu. It does quit Windows, but then I get a blinking cursor in the top left of the screen. It's a Gigabyte GA 686-LX in a 19 inch rack. Could it be that there are some cables wrong ? Mayb...
