yeah i did that. I have kept it stock during instal and i haven't' started ocing till recently inbetween figuring out this odd video card issue. so i know it's not the overclock.

I mean i have an issues with the video card not fully detecting (HD5000 instead of HD5570). I was thinking it was the SMBIOS but, perhaps it's just coincidence. I also happen to be doing overclocking and should be getting the CPU voltage option in the bios but, i don't. is it possible to mod or forc...

you need a patched kernel for 10.6 as i'm suing 10.6. since it's a pentum 4 skt 478 you need a legacy kernel.

I have a BioStar P4M900-M4. for some reason Chameleon boot loader/10.6 snow leopard hackintosh can't detect my SMBIOS. Perhaps if some one can confirm that my mobo does indeed have SMBIOS i can take my problem/questions back to the hackintosh community.

depends on the laptop. i know for my Acer 5920G there is a recovery procedure.

how hard would it be to modify a bios by adding an SMBIOS? my bios lacks and SMBIOS and a particular os i'm using needs it/one. would be possible to add one in to it?

i found the the bios and but, the flash utility confuses me and is dos which will in now way run under Windows 7. it doesn't recognized the hdd but, the ubuntu install can install it i think it hang right when it checks the mirror too or or it id finish in stalling when i wasn't paying attention but...

I figured someone might like it. It plays WoW at 20fps with an old ati 9200
just got a newer pci card for it on newegg if it doesn't drain the power it should be interesting to see the results.
