i currently own a msi k7n2delta2 platinum motherboard...

it originally had a sempron 3000+ (barton core, fsb166, 2ghz) and ran nicely. feeling the need for speed :twisted: (and on a tight budget :wink: , dual core athlon64s are too expensive yet) i decided to give that cpu to my dad and buy myself ...

i had a similar problem some time ago... maybe try unprotecting the boot diskette, and if enabled, disable the 'floppy write protection' function on the bios setup (if available)

sorry about that... you're right, it's a v7.1c, as said in the bios ID and in the BIOS sticker...

Is there any way to enable AGP fast writes on these motherboards? they are the ones with integrated processors (this one is the one labeled as Pro 1400+, which is a 950 MHz Duron oc'ed to run @ 1 GHz)

the thing is, I recently bought a 128mb ATi RADEON 9200 AGP card for this motherboard (Asus ...

the results couldn't be better: the bios chip was dead, so i couldn't reflash it... so i bought a new empty chip, flashed it and solved the problem...

i need to reflash a dead pcchips m800lmr with the hot-swap (or whatever its name is) method. i already did it before, so i just need some data:
1. voltage of the 'atmel 49f002nt' flash rom to be able to flash it
2. can i use a m560tg motherboard to reflash the bios using the hotswap method (i don't ...

if you have a PCChips M537DMA33, then you can run up to two PC133 256MB SDRAM DIMMs (after updating the bios of course). but i have had stability probs with this type of DIMMs, so I recommend you to use, as a maximum, PC100 128MB SDRAM DIMMs...

thanx for the tip rainbow, but the flasher you told me to try doesn't work either and coughs a similar error msg than the other app:
Unknown EEPROM (Manufacturer ID: 55h, Device ID: AAh)
notice the different Man. IDs in both apps... what is that supposed to mean? the flasher utility found on ...

this is the problem, games like Half-Life, CMR2.0 and NFS5 seem to run fine in d3d, but Israeli Air Force and many others just freeze... i tried to disable L2 Cache as suggested in some 3dfx sites, but it didn't make any difference...
i guess i should try to flash the card's bios and see the result ...

the chip is a MX28000PQC. if anyone knows where can i find the right app for that chip, please let me know...
