you're lucky. but only in some cases. not all toshiba's notebooks have the complete binary file in update disk.

you can find the bios image in the *.IMG file, inside the update.

I recommend you to reflash the bios in the hardware programmer with the binary file. AFAIK, there's no crisis disks from sony.

it seems, that there is calibration error in the battery controller. check out if your battery was disassembled and the liion elements was replaced. if so, you should check out the controller logic, i mean the chips marks(you can see it on the controller's PCB), and post it here :) or you can do tha...

don't worry this is normal for that CPU
it'll be worse, if the air blow is COLD. you have the slow chipset in your book and the slow CPU, so there's nothing impressive, that the overall performance is slow.

there's a problem with these books(T20,T21). Solution is only rstore the eeprom with a correct one. but you can reflash the eeprom if you unsolder it, and make a simple i2c programmer. but you'll need a right dump.
