powerstrip doesn't seem to allow me to allocate more memory to the adapter as it says n/a for system memory section. dont know if that is the right section. any other advice? cheers mate

cheers i found that setting with some messing about but now wondered if i could get it to allow more ram to be shared with the video adapter. any ideas?

done it!!! a good friend created an iso file for me with this method... run the setup file to a virtual floppy drive and then save an image of the floppy as boot.ima in Nero create a CD-Rom (boot) and use the boot.ima as the source data then simply burn the CD (without adding anything else) and boot...
