However, there is no explicit bios for Asus A7SC, only the a Asus A7S266-VM/U2 is this the right one?

I also have exactly the same problem. Same mobo+chipset+monitor res. Weird thing that this motherboard is unknown on the asus website. (a7sc)

I also can't find any location where i can download the bios... all links are dead.
