I forgot to mention that I had BARTON 3000 before this guy, so I am not one of those conservatives. I am just thrilled when I see how this grandpa is ticking!

I have solved my problem by limiting capacity on 30GB using jumpers, for now. I still lose about 7GB of HD space, which is plenty, so I am still considering bios flash. I like this comp, I am emotionally attached for it (I am laughing to a problems that guys with SUPER, GIGA, MEGA, ULTRA configurati...

MAXTOR 40GB ON CHAINTECH

I had Samsung 6GB HD but he died in a great theatrical stile (strange loud noises from inside). So I replaced him with Maxtor 40GB, but mu motherboard does not recognize it. BIOS version is 05/13/1999-i440bx-w977tf-2a69kc39c-00. I assume that BIOS upgrade will solve this problem but I don’t know whe...
