well, finally i decided to edit only these parts as in tutorial and it works fine

It depends of model but try this: remove hdd, connect only dvd/cd drive and then try to boot.

some laptops allow to boot from network it could help but its complicated.

in nc4010 there are 2 usb ports and one of them have a "+" mark near. i think this one is for booting.

Yesterday I found link to this thread on HP support site :) I readed few times and trying to underestand. Unfortunatelly Im more familar with hardware instead of software so I prepared stuff for experiments... Patient is nc4010. I soldered plcc socket and make spare copy of original bios just in cas...
