Agreed. My Ubuntu could display widescreen resolution without any hassle.
And SiS made it harder to find and update our videobios

I just bought Widescreen monitor today, with optimum resolution 1360x768. I was happy until then I realized my SiS 661 VGA onboard card does not support this resolution on Windows. I turned on my computer yesterday, then appears a text on my monitor: "Bad Bios Checksum. Starting recovery..." Seems that my BIOS is corrupted, I placed the motherboard CD to my CD drive. Then I read through the progress, there is a text: "Flashing P5XXXXXX.ROM." What the? My real BIOS is P4S8XMX.R...
