Need help understanding the bios
I have a Asus P5E3 .It had a soldered on soic chip. It now has a soic8 socket. Setting up the board [no case] I got an error message after " checking nvram" It said "Not enough space in Runtime area. I bought one of these. Figured the download would have more info on use, but it is the same as the help file posted. It read a bios from a Tyan m/b.ok I put a soic bios from a asus m/b that had a bad boot block. This programmer didnt notice. no red flags. Sure would be nice if someone else had one a...
