At boot says: CPU: AMD Processor model unknown It is using an Athlon II u170. Does anyone know of an update to support this CPU ? I searched and foudn slic 2.1 and that but nothing to add CPU support. So I thougt maybe someone her would have done already... the string is: 64-0100-000001-00101111-050...

BTW the Windows 7 readiness checker said it would install. Only low memory of 768MB. (should be 1GB).

Updated to the IC.M1.05 latest level and tried to too boot Vista or Windows 7 and no dice. Latest update is this bios will seek the CD drive looking for but not FINDING the AMIBOOT.ROM file. Is this possibly due to the CD format ? If I create a bootable CD that looks like a floppy would that do it ? Seems like eveyone else on here has no ideas either...

This appears to be an ACPI compatability error. I am running M0102 level and will try flashing to M0105 but I doubt there is a fix. This bios is made by: Insyde Software Corp - never head of them myself. What do you think the chances of a patch to this to get Vista or Win7 ACPI able ?

I found (from experience) that is mobo will not power up due to a BIOS fault. When the battery is low there is a defect in the code that also does not allow it to charge the battery! Of coure if you send to Dell they tell you they replace the mobo at liek $500 cost what a joke. You only need to borr...

This mobo has no floppy ony USB devices. Tried normal and boot block recovery. Any tips specific to this mobo ? It is a very small mobo and has the 1-2-3 CLR cmos pins. I used a DVD iso to attempt the recovery. No dice. the unit just beeps 2-5-1 short beeps over and over. Never completes...Hmmm. Thi...
