After some reserach, I've found out the problem lies on the CPU microcode, so I need to patch the mobo's BIOS (AMI) to add the microcode for CPUID 0F29.

How can I do this?

Apparently, the BIOS you've just mentioned is for the M726 mobo, NOT M726MRT

I've already flashed M726MRT 128K last version (991204S), without any change. It's not a Win98(SE) problem, it's a big BIOS bug.

Ok, I find those values and changed them in the decompressed BIOS image, but after that i tried to load it into modbin and got a checksum error!!! So, after modify the BIOS image, I have to recalculate and change the checksum, how?????
