@edwin 1) there is only room for one memory module, as the user manual discribes that 256, 512 and 1024mb DDR2 SODIMM is supported. 2) i also think that the problem is an incompability of the ram and memory controller CX700. I'm gona buy another brand sodimm and hopes this works, i'll post my findin...

Hi, I have also the same problem. Only 448Mb is recognised from 1024Mb. I've done some research on this mini PC BOX (BOX Computer).
