If your notbook is working properly then there's no need to update the Bios. Moding Notebok bios is highly risky especiallyas the Bios flashrom is usually soldered onto the mainboard, if something goes wong ith the modded Bios your Notebook is merely dead. Hi everybody I have a hp pavillon dv 6162ea with Phoenix Bios /ACPI2.0 version F.29.
