what is the proper method for running uniflash?Can you just boot to a dos prompt then run uniflash exe Or do you have to have a formated floppy (A:/s) w/ certain files on it & boot right to it?

I just got a brand new slot 1 mobo for $19.99.Look at pricewatch.com
I wouldn't screw w/ outdated parts when you can find an older board cheap.Worst senerio you might have to case-you can have both for less than $50 if you shop.

How do you work this program?There is no directions w/ the readme.I copied all files from the download to a floppy(along w/ a bin fle).I tried running uniflash.exe in dos & got some error code.I also tried booting from the disk.

hadn't tried anything yet-will try forceflashing it tonight.If that don't take I'll try uniflash.

the problem is I have the wrong bios in & it wont flash back to correct version.The computer is freezing up running win XP when I put in an AMD XP 1600 cpu.

The board still works but freezes sometimes.I don't know if I should try to do a debug command to try to restore it back to original bios or if I should put in some perameters in the bios update that prevents it from checking the old bios version.Right now it wont let me reflash it-says wrong model ...
