Re: Hell trying to recover BIOS

Finally it worked out! Using Uniflash + another motherboard, it finally worked out! Anyway, i had to destroy the pins 7 and 8 of the chip, because this motherboard was totally blocked against flashing, so i had to physically force 3,3v on the chip, so the write could happen. And more, the bios file ...

Re: Hell trying to recover BIOS

Re: Hell trying to recover BIOS

That's exactly what i'm going to try next, another motherboard. By the way, yes, the voltage that the motherboard applies is 3.3v, but i forgot to check in the chip datasheet how much was the voltage of the high logical level.

Re: Hell trying to recover BIOS

No, i don't remember the name, but it's a brazillian branch of the foxconn. Anyway, i identified the original motherboard, it's a 661FX7MI-RS. Talking about the problem, i'm thinking in try using another motherboard manufacturer, with the same bios chip type, and use another flashing program other t...

Hi, i have been here before to try to find the BIOS binary file for my motherboard, which BIOS is corrupted, and need to be flashed. I can't acess my motherboard now, because the place where i let it has been locked, and i'll have to wait for more 3 weeks until they open this place again, and i need a computer to a even...

Re: I can't find the file to flash my BIOS

Hm... The flashing program is saying me that the ROM BIOS is write-protected, but i checked a thousand times, and there absolutely no ROM locking jumper or anything similar on this motherboard. I've already tried cleaning CMOS memory before flashing, and i tried changing the TBL enable jumper positi...

I can't find the file to flash my BIOS

Hi, my BIOS got corrupted, and the checksum is failing, and because of this it is entering the boot block. I already tried to clean the CMOS memory multiple times, but it doesn't work. I even had disassembled my whole motherboard, everything, i cleaned everything, and let it 8 hours disassembled (wi...
