BIOS SETTINGS FOR MY ECS K7S5A BOARD
I want to get a better idea if I can mess with the following BIOS settings to get better performance. I have: WinXP AMI BIOS (020206L) ECS K7S5A, AthlonXP 1800+ 384MB of PC133 SDRAM (the board supports DDR Memory (266Mhz) but I don't have any yet) BIOS SETTINGS IN QUESTION (Current settings in BOLD ...

Have you correctly entered the information to start the upgrade at the DOS prompt? A:>ami818 020206l.rom That said, I used the latest flash program at the ECS site in place of ami818 and it worked for me. That manual for the K7S5A is a piece of you know what. They don't even have the Pin 1 locations...
