V1 is the file with the size of 118237 bytes, compressed.
V2 is the file with the size of 118215 bytes, compressed.

I´ll try V3 tonight.

Sorry, because I´m late with my test report. There are many problems!
V1 seems to be work for a week, just one cd rom at SCSI auto scan doesn´t recognized. The message "Press CTRL A for SCSI Bios" at post doesn´t appear. But works.
Changes in SCSI Bios doesn´t save to cmos. Now the ...

it´s an adaptec scsi bios; scsiselect utility v 1.26 for aic-7880 chip.
post message while booting:

sorry, my fault.
at first try, time was to short for cmos clearing. now after ten minutes it worked properly. hdd is detected from bios and from fdisk.

have testet the version. it seems to be alright. system boots. only bios is locked by password. i think you´re on the right way.

sorry in deed. yesterday i was a little bit confused. because all my old boards have each other problems.
the boboard is an M575 clone.
soupy, the bios is set to auto mode/lba.
but this doesn´t work.

retailer brand name is, topgun pentium mmx mainboard.
i´ve flashed it succsefully, bot the autodetect function in bios doesn´t work.
bios stopped, board hangs. only reset works.
if autodetect function is set to off, system boots after hdd is ...
