I downloaded ATMEL's pdf with ERROM list and find chips about 5x8 mm with 8 pins (128K- 1M). Furthermore, I saw similar size chip on my v-card, but I couldn't decifer it label.
So, the problem is solved. Thanks for reply.
My interest in that theme is due to the NONAME v-card, produced on RV250 VGU.

It may be connected with StandBy or Sleeping modes?
Try to disable ACPI in the BIOS setup. Note that this may be need to reinstall Windows.
First you should to set in COntrol Panel/Power Management/ Display in NEVER position.

Hmmm i had already tried the nVidia drivers and have now tried the VIA 4 in 1 drivers but it still freezes, the nVidia FAQ explains my problem almost exactly and suggests updating the BIOS and it's the only thing i haven't tried yet. :( Grrrrrrrr i get this great grafix card and it still dont work ...

Strange to say, but my new VideoCard "Radeon 9000" has no BIOS chip at all! The place for it is free with 2x(7+9)=32 pins. The same problem is for the following videocards:
GigaByte (Maya series): Radeon9000Pro/i
PowerColour: RV25XT, RV250, RV25A-B3, RV25A-C3.
Is it true? Where is the video BIOS ...

The problem is solved!
Now I restore the crush process:
When I put the BIOS chip in the socket I didn't press it properly. So some contact were loosed and the BIOS reprogrammed itself.

I reprogrammed the BIOS with AMIFlash, however I don't have asynhronouse mode in that release too.

First I restore the crush process:
1. I copied the new BIOS image on the floppy with BAD sector within this file! The floppy should be scandisk'ed before programming!
2. So during programming the floppy drive couldn't read this sector and crushes!
3. UPS was loaded with 3 ...

I know the similar method, which used the soldering process for BIOS chips (Russian site). However I don't know which pins should be activated?
#31 (WE#), #24 (OE#) or #22 (CE#). Note that in that case we insert BOTH good (old) and bad (new) BIOS chips in the same soket at the same time.

Yes, I try both sites without any result. It seems that I couldn't connect to FTP servers. I know about ZIP- files, so I just suppose.

Note that chineese site has bios size about 128KB.
However I saved my old BIOS by awdflash and obtained about 256KB!
May be it couldn't be updated?

I have an old mobo BVC2b with 2MB Award PnP BIOS.
There are no words about flashing in the manual, however the chip
SST 39SF020 /5V could be flushed!?
