do you mean drive manager or disk manager remember when i install the 10g hd my laptop wont even start with win 98 startup disk

i have an old ibm 365xd laptop and i want to upgrade the hd to 10g
if i put in the 10g the laptop wont even start even with startup disk ibm said that is normal for this laptop does anybody have a solution please i have the latest bios installed
