I'm trying copy a AMI Bios, using the amifl629...

Exist some incopability between Maxtor Hds and Bios update v1.2 for pcchips m715 made for Alton manufacter????

Exist a way to copy a BIOS without do a upgrade, or a program??

I try everything dude, test with all OS, W9x, W2000...
But I allways have problem.

I install the OS without problem, when I try intall the others softwares, or update the drivers, horever, the system prompt me a ilegal operation message, sometimes this happen on simple tasks accusing the error ...

I did the upgrade to v1.2,
PS: my board was 1.1 printed near the keyboard connector.

Now my computer crash down every time, dont run any game, dont work with the same drivers or the newest drivers ...

So i do what?? I need flash to my old BIOS, but i did not the backup, fuc.... idiot!

I've a motherboard M715, PCchips manufactured, with 404 Lx/EX Chipset...AMI Bios flash, I found 2 ROMs files and don't be sure what of theses I can use...
CAN I USE THE NEWEST VERSION? OR THEY ARE DIFFERENT?
PS: v3.0 & v1.2
