Please use the latest Bios !

The Bios comes with an integrated flashprog but Aopen should have the Bios only, too.
This utility is the flashprog + the bios file integrated into one file.

Just use a fresh formatted floppy disk with this utility to update your Bios - Aopen should have instructions ...

I posted here a while back (when I was working) that I had problems trying to flash an AX6BC that we had at work. Never did get it resolved.

The AOpen utility is a DOS one...you can't use it from Windows.

Get the Everest program (updated version of Aida32) and show us all stuff it gives you about your mainboard/system Bios

Or use CTBIOS or Bios-Agent to post your Bios-ID + Bios OEM message

Try downloading EXTBIOS from Jan Steunebrink's page,
http://web.inter.nl.net/hcc/J.Steunebrink/bioslim.htm .
Alternatively, provide full ID on your motherboard and BIOS and we can check it for you with Rainbow's utility.

I want to install a 40gb hard drive, or if possible an 80gb one, in my computer. Currently I only have one 6gb and one 8gb, and a Pentium II 450 with 320mb RAM. How can I find out if a 40 or 80 gig hard drive will work in my computer before I buy one?
