hell no. check http://humppa.pp.fi/current_and_beta_diff.txt i did with hexcmp. they are different.
as you see from it, first file is my current and is patched to have more than that beta which has mostly empty space.

I think you are correct, it is not a typo - probably the "76GB" means "tested with an 80GB drive" and 76GB is what you get when formatted, another "anomaly" that gives the HDD manufacturers a bigger size to advertise. If there is an address limit explanation for 76GB I would be interested to hear ...

well, don't just rename command.com to awdflash.exe, it don't convert com to exe (exe's have MZ at start of file).
you should try bin2exe (found on _OLD_ ms-dos) to convert .com to .exe so they will work.
that utility was designed by microsoft long time ago, to make few programs work over 64kB limit ...

Re: What I'm doing wrong ?? Flash data verification error !
I tried to hotflash a 256k flashrom from an DFI CA61 rev.B1 in an old Mboard that uses its original 128k flashrom to boot. I used Uniflash 1.40
are you sure you can flash 256k from 128k thing? i think there are some controllers on mainboard for bioses, and if it's for 128k it may not flash 256k.

160GB: 07/12/2000-MVP3-586B-866-2A5LEQ1AC-00
I have this mainboard which i suspect to be QDI or VIA, bios says 07/12/2000-MVP3-586B-866-2A5LEQ1AC-00.
QDI has some 2A5xxQ1AC, but not exactly same as my mainboard.
Is there any possibility to get new upgrade for drives over 160GB?
And what can be done with "OEM ROM", "EPA ROM" and "LOGO ROM ...
