All the things on the board are jumped correctly, because I took it out of another computer, which I had tested before... and it worked I have now connected the front panel cables.... turboLed, ResetSW, HDDLED and PowerLED work correctly I haven't connected the Speaker...

I don't know,because my Motherboard has DMA33.

I have updated my BIOS, know it supports my drive.

But can I set the transfer rate to UDMA100, when my motherboard only supports DMA33.

You should know your BIOS id and the Motherboard manufacturer, date and id.
Then you can search for the right BIOS. You have got the Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG, thus
you should use the Award flasher ulity.

Have you used the right BIOS version? When you are detecting the HDD in the BIOS (auto detect for the hdd) is it hanging, when it is scanning the IDE device.
