Hi Limousin, did you have any success with a n-card on that notebook? I'm experiencing same problems right now... Bought an Atheros AR9287 n-card and can't get it recognized (BIOS 1.0.0.16 / EC Firmware 1.0.0.21) I'm running Linux and neither lsusb nor lspci shows any information of that adapter. So...

hi maman, thanks for responding. they are both nforce4 boards, yes since i don't have several boards here to compare them physically, i can't compare their hardware layout... but, what i found out using the clocking tool "A64 Tweaker": additional to the bios integrated ram dividers DDR333 and DDR266...

same problem here have the 1010 BIOS installed on A8N-E, A64 3200+ CPU (venice core 90nm, Vcore standard 1.4V) max Vcore in BIOS is 1.55V (i think max Vcore in BIOS is depending on used CPU, so with athlons based on clawhammer or newcastle core (Vcore_standard 1.5V, 130nm) it should be possible to s...
