The s775 has a couple of the pins askew and the top of two of them
have the contact fingers amiss i.e. the top 0.5mm

ECS RC410-M2 v1.0 mobo
Hi Have an ECS RC410-M2 v1.0 motherboard. No case. I believe it to be an OEM version, possibly Packard Bell. 1. I am aware, PB use this board in their PC product line so far as they refer to using an ECS RC410 in the iStart PC from 2006; 2. But I cannot find any reference to an RC410 on the ECS webs...

Acer GRS400M motherboard
Hi I suspect the CPU socket on this motherboard has gone. So far as I have seen quoted, the s775 is only good for 20 insertions, the socket on this board appears iffy. I have tried a quick exercise to get the pins straight but consider unlike prior to where I have been able to get a CPU working agai...

Hi, RE - reading and flashing in place You state this can be done where no other peripherals are in expansion (PCI, AGP) slots, no CPU is installed, no drives are installed and no PSU attached to the system. Are you sure a read/write in this manner will not damage the mobo? Whereas I conceive damage...

Yes, its guess the mobo question again I suspect this mobo is a Gigabyte by the colour and decals on PCB. However, Gigabyte have no Radeon Express 200 mobos on their site. AMD state they do per; http://ati.amd.com/buy/promotions/radeonxpress200/intel.html On the Gigabyte site we have - GA-8TRS300M h...

I would like to get an image from it by reading it first. As I do not yet know the OEM for this mobo but suspect it is eMachines, to do this first is priority. This depends of course on the fact, if the board is dead becuase of a prior bad flash - reading the image would be no use. I believe I requi...

Yeah - flash intermittently. BIOS device soldered to board. Q - I have a Willem but was of the opinion the device would have to be removed prior to reading the BIOS image or re/hot flashing. I have seen advice some of the low voltage flash pieces such as with 5V and 3.3V can be read/flashed in situ....
