Yes - thought about a p.d. of 1.7V across Vss (I believe) with a resistor.
I believe I have seen this before. Is it effective?

Hi, Just a note to add re - this issue The mobo support an Nat Semi LM79 monitor. Reads as follows with 1 SL5QV up in CPU1; IN0 1.79V IN1 2.04V IN2 3.29V IN3 5.08V IN4 11.67V IN5 -11.25V IN6 - 5.10V FAN1 6617 rpm Important values are IN0 and IN1 - IN0 is Vcore but... SL5QV is 1.7V - no problem, mobo...

Deniss, Vielen Dank Yep, I have physically swapped out the first SL5QV established to work on its own with a CPU terminator in CPU2 and placed in CPU1, the second SL5QV with exactly the same slocket configuration. Hi - problem The above mobo is Intel BX/GX Installed 512MB PC100 ECC Unbuff SDRAM (2 x 256 Double Sided DIMMs) The last and latest BIOS v2.00.05 allows PIII up to 850Mhz (per Tyan) Updated BIOS to v2.00.05.
