hi, i read articles regarding using cbrom on award bios files. is there a similar application that is for acer ver 3.0 bios?

edited: i found some quick tutorials...

anyway, 28 pin DIP is really a headache. too bad our NIC are OEMs, all are 28 pin DIP :( i was not successful in flashing it even using the rtflash of realtek

here's my case:

i'm planning to put PXE boot rom chips on our 60 pcs of LAN cards. all identical. the model is Acer ALN-325 using realtek driver... i'm doing a search in the internet on how to make those hehe....

hi,

i'm also interested in adding boot rom chips to our NICs.

and i am curious if uniflash would support (in the future) programming 28 pins rom chip using a motherboard.

hi, it's Bios ROM Checksum Error. yes it asked for a floppy , but when i inserted a bootable floppy, it will read for just a second or two, but it wont continue to give me a command prompt. it's stuck. then i followed the wimbios' FAQ # 27, "use a ISA multi IO card", still no luck coz i think it's e...

hi, my ax63 motherboard's bios is very problematic. it's experiencing "checksum error" , and i was not able to boot from floppy drive. i read the FAQ's section and i saw that i can use an ISA multi I/O card to boot the floppy.. but i think there's a conflict with the built in fdc and the ISA Cards F...
