Rainbow:
Thanks for this information.
But can I hotflash these 3.3V FWH flash ROMs on another mobo with similar 3.3V PLCC socket if the chipset is not intel?

Unknown Flash with UniFlash
Why is Uniflash v1.40 not able to detect 3.3v flash ROMs on a P4 mobo with SIS 730/740 chipset? Does this mean that Uniflash works only with Intel chipset when flashing these 3.3V FWH Flash ROMs? I've tried several known good 3.3V Flash ROMs already, including the original 3.3V Flash ROM that comes ...

Thanks NickS. That P.H.D. PCI sounds like the ultimate in mainboard dignostics. Looks like the answer to my problem how to determine which component prevented my board from executing bootblock, as can be seen in the features in these links: http://www.uxd.com/phdpcifeatures.shtml http://www.uxd.com/...

EPOX 8KTA3 PRO BIOS ISSUE
Hi BIOS Gurus, I have 2 Epox 8KTA3 Pro mobos having a similar problem with the PS2 keyboard port. PS2 keyboard isn't detected and you hear a high-pitched intermittent tone from the speaker after memory is detected, and the system just hangs there. IS THIS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS BOARD? Have flashed ...

To ajzchips: Thank you very much for this link. Reading through the manual in that link you suggested, I'm pretty sure now that my board is M741LMRT. But the system still can't boot after flashing the bios with the latest bios update for m741lmrt. I'm now stucked and don't know what exactly is preve...

Yes, the Northbridge heatsink is marked GFXcel which means that it is SIS 630 chipset. But I doubt that it is SIS 630 northbridge because the southbridge chipset is SIS 5595. As far as I know, SIS 630 chipset has the southbridge already integrated into it and so does not need any southbridge on the ...
