How to update a IBM TP 600 without battery ?
Hello!
I have two old IBM TP 600 2645-310 laptops that I want to update the BIOS on but the "flasher" requires AC-adapter AND charged battery. Does anyone know if you can go around this couse both my batteries are stonedead!

I am helping a friend with his Clevo 668 laptop. He want's to install a new harddisk (20GB) but it doesn't work allright. He has tested with "drive overlay"-software but that didn't work either.

My BIOS ID string was 02/11/2000-BANISTER-2A69NC2AC-00 and the case #2 worked just fine. Now I am running Win2k and are able to shutdown the computer in the right way! Thanks a million! New Chicony MP-995 BIOS

I am looking for a new Chicony MP-995 (notebook) BIOS. The one I have now (1.17) doesn't seem to support ACPI couse Win2k won't shutdown and WinXP won't install at all.
