I have had several Octek boards (slot 1, socket 370, socket A) which are just relabeled boards of DFI and PC Partner (same BIOS ID-s as the "original" boards, just modified OEM sign-ons and stickers put on the silkscreened model numbers on the board). I liked their support - they promptly sent me a ...

Actually P3 450 MHz: ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/df-support/1075/ENG/relnte12.txt And there was one guy at a local forum who had a P3 500MHz running on SE440BX with P10 BIOS (the pro...

On an ATX PSU connector, the PWRGOOD signal is probably known as PS-OK. I actually meant the pwrgood signal between the processor and buck controller (or whatever you call it; it's the small chip on the motherboard that generates the proper supply voltage for the processor according to its VID[4:0]...

BIOS support for VIA Socket370 processors
Has anyone patched an Award BIOS to support VIA Socket370 processors (e. g. C3 etc)? Does it differ from adding, for example, support for Intel Tualatin?
I thought I could solve the problem the usual way - using apple_rom's BIOS patcher - but no It doesn't support VIA CPU's

Pre-assembled kit would be just too uninteresting (and also a bit expensive) for me  today, does your CT-Flasher...
