Did you look in the Award bios section... Also, try running the Bios Agent. I can tell you this it is a DFI... Maybe the DFI web site listed can help.

Before you start removing anything reset you video to standard VGA and reboot (just to make sure it works). Now shut down add the card and reboot and see if Winblows finds the new card and if the onboard is turned off.

You show a M5TZA and you looking at a M6TZA bios.... I wouldn't if I were you.

As for addin cards, go to www.pricewatch.com and look in the I/O comtrollers cards. You can get what you want for as low a $13.....

That does not surpise me.... Off warranty therefore no need to just send a bios chip. But, maybe it is soldered in...

If you get a bios chip from Abit then I am impressed. I have a ABIT BH6 board and it is a solid as a rock. Propbably should upgrade to raid and all the latest but this one does the job.

The fact that the power shuts down says the "pwoer good line" is not returning a good signal. This could be bios, memory, cpu or the board. Try testing the memory and cpu else where. Go to MSI and download the latest bios and see if you can somhow flash the chip. http://www.msi.com.tw/support/bios/b...

Check to see if there is an IRQ assigned to the USB. Some allow you to not assign one if you don't use it.
