Would be a good idea to tell us what motherboard you have and if you do have a BIOS entry that deals with the multipliers...

Check whether the new BIOS version enables by default a BIOS Flash protection option (BIOS setup). If this is so, it may be normal to get that "Unknown Flash Type" message.

Most probable cause is that the BIOS release your system came with supports the physical BIOS chip that's in it. Older BIOS releases may not include the internal programming routines of that particular BIOS chip model, which only the newer revisions do.

The German MSI site points to the V3.7 BIOS for all MS-5169 revisions. This could simply mean that the particular "fix" they mention only applies to some of the motherboard revsions, not excluding the BIOS compatibility with others.

You can apply the /py switch. That message is typical with some Acorp boards (non-Acorp originally), since they originally respected the original Vendor code but then changed it to X3 (e.g. 2A69KX3DC )

You'll have to revert the jumper back to its original position.

Unfortunately there is no newer BIOS release than the version you currently have. I'd try going for a different wireless card.

The red quote is self-explanatory. Just use a correct (any) BIOS release for your board and follow those instructions.

Your L1 timings may be too aggressive... Try using more conservative settings in BIOS.
