256Mbx2 on i430VX as 64Mbx2=128Mb work more than year.
By the way, I already have solved this problem (support 64/128Mbit devices) for mobos on VIA VPX (and "higher") chipset with not support 64/128Mbit devices in BIOS (see only 1/4 RAM).

Do you mean you don't change the original Bios but add some files that are executed at startup to patch the Bios/Bios modules on-the fly ?

It also is result of work of the program. (i.e. NOTHING changes, and these modules ARE ONLY ADDED)
modul.tmp is the file containing all changes.
start.tmp is a starting modul.

It`s very-old P1 BIOS, which can`t working with HDD>8Gb. BIOS_Patcher can`t add "big"-HDD Support for MB support only HDD<8Gb (must be >8Gb)
