...Some comments - don`t use "cbrom v.2.15" - is a VERY_BAD version! Only v.2.07/2.08 is a stable-versions.
...And you try with old bios-versions (1.04 - ftp://ftpdriver:s5dkf34jbg@ftp2.nix.ru/ ... 30e104.zip)?

SST49LF020/49LF002A - in than difference?

MB Asus A7V266-E and Abit NV7-133R use SST49LF020. I have only SST49LF002A - on features much like it. But when SST49LF002A (with correct flashing) installing in the said belongings - get 00 on POST-card. But in an effort flash SST49LF020 on any other MB - get "unknown flash type". Why? That for the...

Why you try patching under DOS? I make all under Windows (XP, 98).
Patcher at work open more files - try Rainbow recomendation (but best increase FILES to 100).

Apple_roms would you be willing to take the m567 bios and see what routines it uses for ram handling? Maybe you could overlay parts of the new m571 bios so the old one so you could get a bios that would both support large dimms and k6-2's with bigger hds as opposed to lots of ram but slow cpus or f...
