Have you tried the solutions in the FAQ?
If your BIOS chip is in a socket, like at bottom left of the picture here -

I think you need to go back into Disk Management and see what physical drives and partitions are shown there. If the external drive first partition (old "C:") came up as "F:", there were probably other assignments already for D: and E: (maybe for CD, removable drive, etc). It would have been logical...

Sorry for the delay. Are you sure that the BIOS is the issue? The latest BIOS from Tyan for the Tiger 100 at Tyan's Tiger 100 page is a 2001 AMI BIOS. TYAN TIGER 100 V2.00.05 061320011100 AMI BIOSes of that date are not known to have the 32GB or 64GB limits. What BIOS are you using (please post the ...

Other avenues to try:
Using type User and setting 16 heads, what is the maximum no of cylinders & sectors you can set?
Download Seagate's Seatools for DOS utility and use option C to set reported capacity to 32GB. XP should still see the whole drive.
