i have the most updated nero program . when i put blank cd on it shows write max 40 when it is empty it shows 52 max. but the blank cd i put is already 56 x compatible. and also read speed is 40 max. So, either the CD really isn't 56x speed compatible, or your system just can't burn that fast and N...

You may have accidentally deleted the Non-DOS setup partition. Check the compaq website for F-10 setup and Diagnostic repair disks.

The only other company I know of is PowerLeap, but they integrate the CPU into the card, and they're horribly over-priced.
