BIOS updates are IN GENERAL cumulative.
In the case of the A7N8X(Deluxe)series you can just use the latest BIOS to include all (previous) features that turned out to be ok

The BIOS write protection are some circuits on the mainboard itself. It's not on the EPROM (the NVRAM chip where the BIOS is stored into). If you use a tool like Uniflash you should be able to hotflash the corrupted chip. Btw: are you sure the content of the BIOS chip are corrupted due to a 'CMOS cl...

Also make sure you've disabled all wakeup events to prevent the m/b from starting due to LAN, KB/Mouse activity, RTC, etc.

If you rendered your Boot Block corrupted :
www.badflash.com www.flashbios.org , or give a try to hotflashing.

The AMIBIOS Boot Block flash recovery routines ignore any flash protection settings.
