Just to keep you all updated on the BIOS issue, Space Marine is now running the REV:F10 BIOS. This is the latest official BIOS I could find for the Lucky Star P54CE Ver.F board and it is a close match with the original REV:F03 BIOS he send me. This 02/14/97 REV:F10 BIOS has full support for the 3.2V...

Hello Group, Joining this thread to try to solve the BIOS issue and K6 233 support. :) The BIOS-ID seems to point to a Lucky Star P54CE 5I-VX1 board. Space Marine, have you been able to confirm that from the board's markings and is there a Rev. nbr. printed on the board? Sources on the net show more...

Stefan, As I understand it, there are two types of BIOSes used in the Chicony MP983 series, a type "D" and a type "S". The latest version for both types used to be v1.43, but later an updated v1.46S appeared. The v1.43D seems to be the last version for the "D" BIOS. I have patched both the v1.43D an...

Keebler, Denniss is right. You're probably running an old BIOS version without K6-2/-3 support. You can see the version of your BIOS in the sign-on message on the BIOS boot screen. It is something like (55XWUQ0D). I've downloaded the latest HOT-557 BIOS versions from Shuttle's web-site and they appe...
