Hi There are not really any specific settings for the CPU in the Bios (other than enable/disable the cache). The AMD K6/233. Hmm, wasn't that the one, which needed the Vcore of 3.2V? Check the printings on top of the CPU and make sure, CPU Setup in the Bios matches, what is printed there. Hi

Hmmm, I'd opt for removing the firmware chip from a working drive.
Read it's content and flash your chip using an external flashing device.

As the firmware-Image (avail from the download) has an odd size, it might not be a plain chip image.
