Re: can someone help me finding my bios update?
The motherboard support page for your Gigabyte board is here: http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-8S650GXM.htm The latest BIOS is the F7, which you seem to have, although the sign-on has a different date and says F7 g . Is this board in a custom build or an OEM system such as H...

Re: Manual and drivers for MS-6564
Have you run the Bios Wizard yet? I wasn't suggesting a new BIOS - the wizard should give a BIOS ID which may help us find a manual for you.

Re: Dead Gigabyte 8IPE1000 (BootBlock)
And here is Gigabyte's response: Thank you for supporting GIGABYTE products and contacting GBT Tech Support. As to the problem you mentioned, if the motherboard still doesn't work after you clear CMOS, we are sorry to tell you that you will have to contact your supplier and see if they could help yo...

Re: Manual and drivers for MS-6564
Having trouble finding info on this board - is it marked MS-6564 on the board surface? What CPU (Socket 478 or ?), how many PCI, AGP slots, what kind of memory (DIMM, DDR) and how many slots, etc.? Also, does the board boot? What operating system are you running? If it is at all possible, post the B...

Soyo SY-7VCA-E Bios
Are the memory sticks you've tried single sided, or are there chips on both sides of the sticks. Some boards are very picky with high-density memory.

Re: Dead Gigabyte 8IPE1000 (BootBlock)
Looking at the BIOS revisions, it appears the BIOS auto-rescue function was added to version F7 (for your board) in mid-July of 2003. Do you recall what version you have - it would seem from what's happening that you do indeed have this feature....

Re: Dead Gigabyte 8IPE1000 (BootBlock)
I have an 8IPE1000 Pro3 board. Did you go into the Setup as suggested in the link? Press F8 in Setup to access the Dual BIOS/Q-Flash utility screen. Cursor up or down to where is says "Boot From". It should say "Main BIOS" - if not, change it until it does and back out of the utility (F10 Power Off)...

Just a guess - Asrock GEPro-HT R3, compare with this image:
Support page here:
http://www.asrock.com/product/product_gepro-ht_r3.htm
Perhaps this is an OEM board for a system manufacturer???
