Are you sure you correctly identified your board?
What was the Bios you flashed ?

Re: ECS K7SOM+ Drivers
What's the new PCI VGA card for a model/manufaxturer ? I remember some manufacturers sold a PCI VGA card but the drivers supplied with this card won't work. Please remember to set the shared VGA size in Bios to the lowest number or you's waste some valuable memory for the OnBoard VGA card you don't ...

Are you sure you have the AM37 board and not the other option with the MSI MS-6390 board ?
There are two Bios files in the package from HP, one for each board. Make sure you picked the file matching your board.

Seems to be a Contec board, try to ask their support.
At least 64 MiB are gone for your OnBoard VGA, the other 512 MiB are lost somewhere. Either the module is damaged or not compatible with this chipset.

Re: Do I Really need a BIOS patch?
There's no problem with SIS 630/730 and newer chipset using widescreens resolutions via Linux. It's a major problem in Windows though. Windows driver requires those modes supported by Videobios, Linux does not need this. There's no patch for SIS630/730 motherboards offering widescreen res in Windows...

Re: Dimension 4600 RAM Upgrade
WinXP works fine with 4 GiB RAM installed. It's just the problem it is only capable to use ~3.2 GB due to the space limitations with 32Bit adresses.

Re: Asus M2N68-LA bios help
This Bios update is not listed for your computer system. It may be designed for a motherboard of the same name but of a different revision thus it may not work at all on your board.

Re: AMI Bio Asus P5Q Pro with Windows 7 64 BIT OS
Use the DOS flashprog from a bootable USB-Stick or bootable CD.
Do not use a Windows flashprog that not officially supports your OS. It will either not work at all or not work properly and may damage your Bios.

OEM motherboard, there have never been OC-options inside this Bios thus you can't hack them in.

Re: LCD seems magnetized
According to the manufacturers website the monitor supports 75 Hz at this resolution. Do you have the same problems with any refresh rate between 60 and 75 Hz ?

Please use the 60 Hz option if it's available. Otherwise right-click on your desktop, use settings-> advanced-> Monitor and set it to 60 Hz there.

If you really want and answer then give us some hardware detail.
What's your new motherboard, VGA card, Operating system, etc. Is keyboard (PS2 or USB?) not available in bios or also not in your OS ?

Re: need help for asus p4sp-mx vbios
In this thread, as I understood, SIS Video Bios was modified to support 1440*900, while it was not supported in vbios ver 1005. Video ram on my chip can be used up to 64Mb, it is enough to support 1920*1080*32bit, so I think that it is possible to make modification to support 1920*1080. No, it's no...

AFAIR not supported by the SIS Video Bios your Windows driver relies on. Max probably is 1680x1050.
