Latest official Bios supports drives greater than 36GB but thisusually ends at 64 or 128GB .
Seems they have a beta here :

But from the date no 160GB support .

LV is latest

Start the flashprogram with option /F and see whether it is able to detect the Flashrom .
Tried older Flashprgrams ?

Already latest Bios

I had reports this Bios supports HDD above 32GB but still some reports it does not . If I rember correctly I herd of Maxtor 40GB running and WD sometimes not . No Infos about Seagate and HDD above 64GB . If it fails to run the HDD get an UDMA controller card that is able to get full speed out of you...

Picked the correct Bios for your Boardrevision ?
If I remeber correctly Revision 1.0 and 1.1(and upper) needs different Bios !
CLEAR CMOS and Load Setup Defaults in Bios

32GB Limit Jumper set on HDD ?
Tried entering HDD values manually in Bios Setup if Autodetect fails or sees nothing ?

Find out the manufacturer with the Award ID List
Find out the model number by searching a model number onto the Board - usually between PCI-Slots or near the last ISA-Slot .

Use Aflash for Biosupdate . > Try older Aflashprograms if Chip is not recognized . > Which type of Chip is installed ?

Mass Storage Controller is the extra Highpont UDMA66 OnBoard IDE-Controller which needs drivers or disabling in Bios .

Do you get you old fast speed if you remove the 128Mb and reinsert the 64MB ?
