Re: Asus P4SQ - Digimatrix - Need vBIOS Update for Wide Scre

as far as i know the only recent vbios available is VGA-only. This is also stated in the sticky thread, no digital output or TV-out possible with this Bios. If we get hands on a Laptop or motherboard with SIS chipset supporting both Widescreen and digital output we may try to extract this Videobios...

Re: Dell Optiplex 745 doesn't recognize Pentium Dual Core

Do you have the latest Bios ?
Many older S775 boards were not able to handle 45nm CPU due to change in VRM specifications. Or it's a newer revision not supported by the Bios.

Re: Acorp 5TX52 jumper settings needed for BIOS flash

I tested the PSU some months ago and the 12v was 11,9-11,95V so it should be enough. But if I cant flash it I also can ask somebody with a flash programmer to burn the bios into the chip, so it must be successfull and not erase chip fail or something. If everything else work these less than 12V may...

Re: Acorp 5TX52 jumper settings needed for BIOS flash

Please search for a Bios Flash protect option in your Bios.
Other problem sources are the PSU, if it does not deliver 12V but slightly below it may not be enough to erase the chip. And the chip itself could fail.
Have you tried with Uniflash, forcing it to use the chip-specific algorythms ?

Re: Acorp 5TX52 jumper settings needed for BIOS flash

The chip is MX 28F1000PPF-12C4. The number, that flash program give is 28F010 /12V Are you sure it's labeled 28F1000PPF and not PPC ? From my experience Uniflash does have problems detecting the chip but you may use the -force option + matching chip number to force write algorythms for this chiptyp...

Re: Cannot see 2nd graphics card after updating bios, help!

GF 8200 = OnBoard VGA. Please read your mainboard manual for the proper Bios setting to keep the OnBoard VGA active as xecondary VGA even with a discrete grahics card installed.
The 800 MHz was not wrong, that's how the CPU clocks while idle.

Re: 60 GB - 07/01/1999-692-596-W977-2A6LGCM4EC-00 / MSI-61

For a proper identification of this board we need to complete Bios-ID. Not just the info from the bottom of the page but also the Bios eval/OEM message on the top left just below the Award Logo.
In case of the Maxdata Bios the message of the patched Bios is "VMP 1.0B6f *"

Re: ASUS AMI BIOS - Won't Set Memory Timings

You may want to test other system info software - they may or may not be able to read the memory timings. Some examples are hwinfo, sandra, everest/aida, etc.

No, the Bios will just load an updated set of fixes for CPU it already knows.
