Re: Asus Update says"Unable to detect Asus Bios"
Your board is too old to be supported by this software. Either flash from a floppy disk or from a bootable USB-stick.
Make sure Legacy USB support is enabled in Bios or it won't find the files on your stick.

Re: bios menu blocked heelp
What's your moherboard ?
Do you use an USB keyboard or a PS/2 one ?
It may be possible your backup battery is empty causing the Bios to reset to default values. Depending on how old your motherboard is, it may have USB legacy support disabled by default.
-> try a PS/2 keyboard

Don't hold your breath with this Bios. If the dates are correct it was released in the same timeframe as the P5G33 Bios. I don't think there's much difference between them.

It's not possible for us to mod Phoenix Bios. But as the HDD is at least recognized as 128 GiB, space above that size should be accessible via Windows or Linux. IT should show up as non-partitioned area in the windows disk manager

Re: Very old AMIBCP needed
Did you try to modify the file on a system with the K7S5A installed or on a different system ?
AFAIR in this Bios submenu there's also the hardware monitor, you can't modify this section on a non-K7S5A system.

Re: BIOS Installed yet claiming its not?
I assume your board is the K8T Neo2 FIR with an add-on Promise Controller, supporting one PATA and two SATA ports. If nothing is connected to these ports you'll get the Bios message. Pease connect all drives to the motherboard controller ports, attaching them to the Promise controllermay not work (e...

Re: moddin Phoenix bios F.29 (Hp pavillon laptop)
If your notbook is working properly then there's no need to update the Bios. Moding Notebok bios is highly risky especiallyas the Bios flashrom is usually soldered onto the mainboard, if something goes wong ith the modded Bios your Notebook is merely dead. Do you have a specific reason to update/mod...

Re: Pegatron M2N78-LA BIOS Update Issue
Please load Setup Defaults in Bios. Search for a Smart Fan control or similar option. This should be set to Enabled or Auto. IF a target temperatur is set, you may want to try setting it higher by some degrees.

Re: BIOS freeze after the POST message
Clear CMOS via jumper, you have to unplug the power cord first and to press the power button at least two times to unload your PSU. If you have more than one memory stick installed please use only one to test. It's possible the new Bios reverted to auto memory settings but this somehow failed, often...

Re: ASUS P5G33 showed CPU Temperature is too low
is that the latest bios and does it support the celeron 420? Yes to both, there was an older Bios installed that didn't even boot with the Celeron but the new Bios was stated as supporting newer CPU. CPU is on their support list but ECS failed to announce the Bios version required for the CPU to be...

Re: ASUS P5G33 showed CPU Temperature is too low
I now have the same problem with an ECS motherboard and a Celeron 420. Temperatures ranging from 2 to 15 degree Celsius shown in Bios and the CPU fan stays at ~1200rpm. I have not yet tested the system with heavy CPU load but due to the 35W TDP I don't expect cooling problems. Speedfan shows a temp ...

Sounds like a hardware problem or somehow screwed CMOS-data.
