was on email chat with various reps for emachines regarding this issue and they do not supposedly have the proper image for it anymore, instead they pointed to a new board instead for a simple file to fix it. I finally got it out of one of the Emachines Reps that the bios was removed from their webs...

Hi,

Emachines model S1940. Must be a real weird one with all those on your FTP site and this thing not one of them.

Never imagined a proper Bios image would be so difficult to locate on a fairly recent board.
