When I have the time I will check them on the modules themselves. Anyway.....in the bios I have seen that timings settings are set I think on AUTO. CPU-Z I have checked under option SPD and there I have seen 3-4-4-8. The only thing I have changed in BIOS is Command Rate on 1T (instead of the default...

Leave memory timings at Auto-detect but set Command Rate to 2T, 2T is often needed with 4x 512MB sticks. If there are still some problems try to raise VDIMM a little bit (memory voltage) and/or VCore (CPU voltage). I still have the same problems. Are you sure my timings settings for RAM are OK ? I ...

I have 4 modules PC3200/DDR400 (512 MB). First I had 2 of them. Now I have some instability problems with my Mobo Asus A8V Deluxe (with Athlon 64 3500+). For example fm cold boot (in the morning for example) my system doesn't want to boot. Only with reset button (once or twice pushed) it boots but o...

Re: Is my BIOS version corect ?
This week I updated my BIOS. At startup I see AMI version 1017.002 (latest version) for my Asus A8V Deluxe. Curious, very curious... I have a 1018 BETA 001 release, but it can be found in one Asus FTP only. ftp://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket939/a8v-deluxe/1018-001.zip The other FTP sites sho...

Is my BIOS version corect ?
This week I updated my BIOS.
At startup I see AMI version 1017.002 (latest version) for my Asus A8V Deluxe.
Also Everest recognize this version. Build date 14/11/2005
But why when I enter in BIOS setup I see build date 14/11/2005 but version 08.09 or something like that ????

First of all thx for yr quick reply. 1) Could you pls explain me what's the internal memory controller ? 2) It seems that I have resolved (??????????) the problem of the PC3200 recognition. But because you're a BIOS guru I'll ask you if I did something terribly wrong. Just a few minutes ago I posted...

PC3200 recognized as PC2500 ???????
Lately I had some boot problems with my PC. I changed PSU and updated BIOS. After resolving (at least it seems for the moment) by changing option AI overclocking [AUTO] into [STANDARD] in the Bios settings my pc didn't show any boot problems anymore but it seems my PC performance is not exactly as i...
