Could I also get a copy of the patched VBIOS for the P4SGX-MX? Same problem; no widescreen support!
Many Thanks!

Well, if you go to the main page of this forum, check this posting:

See point 3 and click on download page. I really wonder why people are afraid to search 2 clicks away. Oh well...

Hi cp,cp wrote:patched bios sent.
I went to the ASUS website for ASUS P4SGX-MX and their latest vesion is a 1006 Betta version. Is your patch the same or different?
when I use the AFLASH rev2 which is provided by ASUS website, I see an "Insufficient error" and it doesn't have any /tiny or /? switch. Is it safe if I use higher AFLASH version for using /tiny switch. In fact, my main concern is using wrong utility for the motherboard and making very bigger problem for the motherboard. If it is fine where can I find the AFLASH with higher version?
Another question! .. I have not any floppy disk for doing this and I am using a bootable CD. Is this possible?
Thank you very much
Reza
can't remember but i always opted for the latest version when patching it back then. just download it and take a look.I went to the ASUS website for ASUS P4SGX-MX and their latest vesion is a 1006 Betta version. Is your patch the same or different?
it should be. i don't see a reason why it shouldn't. just check out ASUS' site for the latest flasher. If it is fine where can I find the AFLASH with higher version?
yes it is. there are readymade boot images available. just use a search engine to find the right one for youAnother question! .. I have not any floppy disk for doing this and I am using a bootable CD. Is this possible?
