it's about time someone opened a new thread on this one. thanks :)
as i already wrote here:

the main LCD will stop working with a patched video bios on a notebook and until now there's no cure against this. so if you're willing to let go your main LCD for 1440x900 on an external vga device it'll be a pleasure to send you the patched bios.
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.

Hello,
I have the same problem: I want to use a 19'' widescreen monitor at a resolution of 1440x900 on my old laptop. The original LCD is broken and I removed it.
My laptop is the same of Zenith, an ASUS A2500H with:
VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 65x/M650/740 PCI/AGP VGA Display Adapter.
Can someone send me the patched bios?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm in the same situation as zenith and tarabaz:
ASUS A2H laptop with [SiS] 65x/M650/740 PCI/AGP VGA Display Adapter.
I understand the limitations of the patched bios for laptop users
I've also been to the downloads page, but was unable to find what I believe is my motherboard model number: sfl 42v0 - e52914 - 94v-0. or - A2H 0210G
I know it has been some time since this thread was last posted in, however, I'd appreciate it if someone could send me the patched bios.
Thanks very much
